Restorative Yoga

I teach Restorative yoga, a deeply nourishing practice, which is relaxing and releasing for the body, mind and nervous system.  The body is supported by props – bolsters, blocks and bricks and involves supported forward bends, back bends, twists and supported inversions.  Blankets, eye pillows and sometimes sand bag weights are applied to the body to allow the practitioner to sink more deeply into a relaxation state.

I studied Restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lassater, much respected American teacher who wrote the book on Restorative yoga & studied with the late great B K S Iyengar.
